Today, we visited the Seodaemun Prison Museum, where we had an unforgettable experience. The site, previously used as a prison, became the stage for a unique concert titled "Songs of Memories," which created an atmosphere of deep immersion in history. The soul-stirring music intertwined with dramatic moments, establishing a tense ambiance. One of the most memorable parts of our visit was the immersive performance, where actors portrayed prisoners and prison guards. We witnessed historical events that took place within these walls, which truly helped us understand the scale of suffering and the struggle for freedom. Their performance was so realistic that we felt what it was like to be in such a dire situation. All the actions of the actors were explained by a guide, who provided information in both Korean and English. During the performance, we eagerly explored the museum's exhibits, which gave us the opportunity to learn more about the fates of prisoners and the history of the independence movement in the fight against Japan. Every corner of the museum was filled with historical artifacts and touching stories that left a profound impact on our consciousness. This visit was not only educational but also an emotional experience that immersed us in significant moments of Korean history. We left with not only knowledge but also memories of the suffering and courage of those who fought for freedom.
