Hwasun is located in the province of Jeollnam-do, close to the city of Gwangju. It is the definitely the place to go if you want to spend time in nature and experience the culture of Korea. An honourable mention which I didn't get a chance to visit is the Hwasun Dolmen site which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Location is actually Hwasun bridge with its beautiful glass murals. Located next to it was Hwasun Flower River Music Fountain. At night with all the colourful lights turned on, you were transported into another world. Also next to the bridge the Fountain light show was held with sprays of water and lights in time to the music.

What makes Unjusa Temple is the fact that it is surrounded by mountains and the many different Buhddas that you can find in ever corner. It is the perfect place to visit during Autumn because the many trees turn a deep red colour, quite a sight to see.
