About your trip

Wando is such a cool island down in the southernmost part of Korea! We kicked off our trip at the Wandonesia Hotel, which is super popular and has a bunch of fun activities going on. Plus, they offer free coffee for guests, which is always a nice touch! The port area is beautiful, and you can really enjoy the fresh ocean air while taking a nice stroll. Getting around Wando is a breeze, thanks to the local and intercity buses. We hopped on one and checked out some awesome spots, like Wando Tower, where a lot of Korean dramas have been filmed (Cheonghae Port is stunning!). We also hit up Myeongsasimni Beach, which is absolutely gorgeous, and browsed through local markets. What I loved most about this place is how peaceful it is, yet there’s still so much to do. I think the best time to visit would be in the spring or summer when everything is in full bloom. All in all, I’d rate my experience a solid 9 out of 10! The affordability and variety of activities really made it special. Wando is definitely worth a visit!
