I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes, bringing a water bottle and make sure to wear sunscreen when coming in the summer season. Also, bring some snacks, I did not see many convenience stores at the city, everything is a bit far.
BUS, CAR
Every time I go outside of Seoul is when I have the chance to truly live and explore the Korean culture. The trip to Anseong was amazing! Thanks to funday korea, and as a Anseong Global Supporter, I could learn more about Namsadang, a traditional Korean performance that combines dancing, acrobatics, singing, and "percussion band." The Namsadang Nori is recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. The performance is really fun and entertaining to watch. Don't miss the chance to visit the Baudeogi Festival in Anseong from October 3rd (Thu) to October 6th (Sun). Besides the festival, you can also explore the city and visit the Geumgang Lake Sky Observatory. It has a really beautiful view! We also had the opportunity to do a K-pop class at the city's university. The teachers were so sweet and patient. Although I have zero skills in dancing, I could enjoy learning the choreography. We even recorded videos dancing together at the end. A truly and complete Korean culture experience, combine the modern and traditional experiences.
Everything in the city seems to be far, so I would recommend to go there by car. Also, bring snacks to spend the day and search for restaurants nearby the place you're staying.
