Are you also tired of looking for new places for your date? Or maybe you need some me-time? Or maybe you are looking for a less-crowded spot where you can take your family on a walk or grab some coffee and a nice cake? Well, I got you! How about Oryu Beodal Market - a place filled with natural beauty (parks, walking routes, etc) and not missing the signature of Korea (cute cafes, bakeries and restaurants with authentic Korean food)? The district is after Guro station, please make sure you take off on Oryu Station if you are taking the subway Line number 1. Here is the course I took. I find the district pretty quiet and it gives me comfort. Somehow far from the noisy center of the city, somehow closer to nature, closer to the heart. I went there on my own and first stopped at one bakery: SangSang Bakery. SangSang in Korean means "Imagination" and I could not describe the place better. It has a second floor with a terrace from where the sunlight makes its way inside. It is perfect for all ''imaginers'' I would say dreamers might find it lovely. The place offers a variety of cakes, desserts, bread, and drinks. As a foreigner in Korea, I barely could find a place with a salty nice bread but SangSang Bakery was one of the exclusions. I got a cake and one iced americano which cost me in total around 12,000 KRW. You can take the bus 마을버스 07 to reach there or you can take a walk by passing by the Oryu Beodal Market. In the marketplace, you will be able to find a lot of bakeries, cafes, and nice restaurants.
