This tour was truly worth joining, and I’m so glad I had the chance to be part of it. We departed from Yangjae Station at 8:20 a.m. (a little later than scheduled since some people arrived late) and reached our first stop around 10:15. There, we learned how alcohol is made and tasted a special makgeolli paired with fancy, delicious snacks. After that, we moved on to another brewery to try Korean wine, again with some tasty snacks. We also learned about the history and the process of making wine, which was fascinating. By around 5:00 p.m., we returned to Yangjae Station. Along the way, I had the chance to connect and chat with other foreign friends, making this one of the most memorable programs I’ve joined this year. Thank you, Funday!
You might receive a few bottles of wine as a gift, so be sure to bring a backpack to carry them. I didn’t bring mine, and it was a bit inconvenient riding the subway back with two bottles in my hands.
