November 23, and I'm still there. My head is still smoking with that 475-meter street in Gumi, and every time I close my eyes I can smell the garlic oil and crab. I only got around to writing this now because for the past two weeks I’ve just been walking around my apartment quietly whimpering over that ramen. I still remember standing there with a bowl of Red Crab Ramen — the broth bright red, the crab so fresh it was like it had just surfaced from the sea and decided to die happily in my bowl. I honestly tried to eat it slowly, but no chance. Then the black one. With a whole squid lying on top like a trophy. I looked at it and thought: “That’s it, I’m seriously going to cry over noodles now!” Then the hanu one with kimchi — the beef melted, the kimchi crunched, and for a good fifteen minutes I just checked out of reality. There were oceans of people, but everyone felt… like family somehow… Gumi, I’m not letting you go. You now live inside me as the taste of charcoal-black broth and the sound of k-pop someone was dancing to while holding their bowl. Thank you for existing. And yes, I’m already counting the days until next year to do it all again… #Nongshim #농심 • @nongshim @funday.korea.networks #GumiRamenFestival2025 #StillThere #GumiRamyunFestival #구미라면축제
