The 2025 Sool Festival was an absolute vibe, like stepping into paradise made entirely of Korean drinks and good energy. The moment you walk in, it’s sample cups everywhere, people laughing, music floating through the air (live band), and vendors proudly showing off their best drink flavors and the creamiest makgeolli you’ll ever taste. It’s the kind of event where you’re low-key learning about Korean culture but also high-key having the time of your life. Every corner has a new drink, a new surprise, and a new reason to say “okay… just one more!” If you love trying new things, meeting cool people, and collecting core memories, this festival is a MUST.
1. Come with an open mind ~you’ll taste drinks you’ve never even heard of, so be ready to explore. 2. Eat before you go ~ tasting alcohol on an empty stomach is a BIG no. Grab a meal first. 3. Pace yourself ~ “sip, don’t gulp.” There are so many drinks to try, you don’t want to tap out early. 4. Bring a good camera or phone ~ the stalls, bottles, and the whole vibe are super aesthetic. 5. Carry a power bank ~ you will 100% run out of battery from filming and taking pics. 6. Stay hydrated ~grab water between tastings to keep your palate (and your body) happy. 7. Talk to the vendors ~ they love explaining the history behind their drinks, and you learn SO much. 8. Wear comfy shoes ~ you’ll be walking, browsing, sipping, and repeating. 9. Transportation ~ ALWAYS know how you are getting home... 10. Try something outside your comfort zone ~ you might find a new favorite!
