About your trip

My favorite day in Jeonju Hanok Village felt like stepping into a peaceful, living museum. I started the morning by simply meandering through the quiet, curving alleys, taking a moment to appreciate the elegant, tiled rooftops of the Hanok houses against the blue sky . The air smelled faintly of aged wood and traditional tea. The highlight was definitely the climb up to Omokdae Pavilion, where the stunning panorama of the village's grey and brown roofs spreading out below offered a profound sense of tranquility—a perfect contrast to the surrounding modern city. Lunch was a bowl of the famous Jeonju Bibimbap in a small, centuries-old house, a rich and unforgettable culinary experience that truly grounded me in the local culture. It was a day of slow, quiet discovery, simply soaking up the beauty and history, and it left me with a deep, pleasant sense of calm.
