About your trip

On October 12, I joined the Anseong Baudeogi Festival & Kimchi Making Experience β€” the final day of this beautiful cultural journey. The day started at Yongseol Culture Village (μš©μ„€λ¬Έν™”λ§ˆμ„), surrounded by nature and the warm autumn air πŸ‚. We learned about the kimjang (κΉ€μž₯) season β€” the special time in Korea when families prepare large batches of kimchi for winter. Then came the best part: making our own kimchi! πŸ₯¬ Mixing the spicy sauce, adding vegetables, and carefully packing it β€” it was such a fun and meaningful moment. I even got to take it home, and honestly, it turned out to be the most delicious kimchi I’ve ever tried! πŸ₯Ή After lunch, we headed to the Anseong Machum Namsadang Park, where the festival was in full swing. I tried to make a small keychain craft, but honestly, I couldn’t figure it out 🀣 so I asked the artist for help β€” he kindly made one for me! Then we walked around the booths, enjoyed local snacks, and watched the amazing Namsadang Performance, recognized by UNESCO. Even though it rained lightly, the energy of the crowd and the beauty of the performance made the whole day unforgettable. Everything felt cheerful, cozy, and full of life β€” a perfect ending to this cultural adventure πŸ’›
