BUS, SUBWAY
I joined for the 2025 Anseong Baudeogi Festival, and it was such an amazing experience! It's one of those events that really lets you feel the warmth and creativity of Korean culture. From the moment we arrived, the festival was full of energy — music, performances, and booths that made it easy to explore something new at every turn. I loved that we could wear a hanbok for free, which made the whole experience even more special. Walking around in traditional clothes surrounded by colorful tents and music made me feel like I had stepped into another time - like a princess among the traditional booths. There was so much to enjoy, from the Namsadang performances - rope walking, drumming, and acrobatics - to all the local food and sweet treats like honey and ice cream. Every corner had something fun to see or try. If you ever get the chance to go, don't rush. Take your time to wander, eat, and enjoy the performances. The Baudeogi Festival truly shows how tradition and community come together in the best way. If you plan to visit next time, I recommend going early so you can explore comfortably before the big shows start. The Baudeogi Festival only happens once a year, but it's definitely worth it for anyone who wants to experience the heart of traditional Korean culture.
• Arrive early: You’ll beat the crowds and have time to look around before the big performances start. • Try the hanbok experience: It’s free, fun, and makes your photos extra memorable. 👘✨ • Don’t skip the food stalls: Local snacks like honey treats and ice cream are part of the experience. 🍯🍦 • Explore different stages: If one show is full, there’s usually another performance happening nearby. • Take your time: The best part of this festival is soaking in the atmosphere — enjoy the music, and just wander.
