Last week, I was lucky to visit one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites—King Sejong's tomb. We started at the King Sejong Museum, where one part discussed the creation of Hangeul. Then, we walked around the park surrounding the tomb. Even though it was raining, the place was truly beautiful and peaceful. After visiting King Sejong's tomb, we went to the Botong-ri traditional house, where we had a great time playing traditional Korean games and participating in a hanok building workshop (for me, it felt like building a giant Lego house!). To conclude the day, we enjoyed a beautiful performance by talented artists playing traditional instruments and singing Korean folk songs. It was my first time hearing the gayageum and a pansori performance! Big thanks to the Funday team and all the trip members for such a great experience!
