On Saturday, I had a truly unique experience in Yeoju thanks to Funday Korea Networks. We left Seoul early in the morning, and our first stop was the Tomb of King Sejong, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in history and culture. It was so interesting to learn more about such an important figure in Korean history. After a delicious lunch, we headed to Botong-ri Traditional House, where we were welcomed with a traditional tea ceremony. We then visited the inside of the traditional house, which was well preserved and had a peaceful, authentic atmosphere. In the afternoon, we took part in several hands-on activities: building a miniature hanok, a bracelet-making workshop, and traditional Korean games like ttakji, jegichagi, and gonggi. It was fun and educational at the same time! One of the most memorable moments of the day was the traditional Korean music concert inside the house — an intimate and fascinating experience. After dinner, we headed back to Seoul with hearts full of beautiful memories. The whole day was well organized and enriching. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Korean culture in an authentic and fun way!
