Things to Prepare

1. Personal Hygiene Items Bring your own personal hygiene products, such as a makeup remover, facial cleanser, toothbrush, toothpaste, and any other essentials you use daily. While some basics like body wash and soap are usually provided, itโ€™s important to have your own familiar items to feel comfortable and clean. 2. Sunscreen Make sure to bring sunscreen. You may spend several hours walking outside, and protecting your skin from strong sunlight is crucial to avoid burns and long-term skin damage. 3. A Hat for Sun Protection Donโ€™t forget to pack a hat! Walking under the sun, especially while listening to your tour guide, can become exhausting. A proper hat will help prevent headaches caused by direct sunlight and keep you feeling cooler and more comfortable. โ˜€๏ธ 4. Extra Clothes Pack a few sets of extra clothes. After a long day of activities, itโ€™s refreshing to change into clean, freshly washed clothes. Youโ€™ll likely sweat and get tired, so having fresh outfits ready will help you feel better and stay hygienic. 5. Water Bottle Always carry a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. Walking and traveling can dehydrate you faster than you think, so itโ€™s important to drink plenty of water throughout the day. 6. Snacks While meals are usually provided โ€” and often quite delicious โ€” you might get hungry during bus rides or between activities. Bring a few light snacks in advance, or you can pick some up during stops along the way. 7. Camera and Extra Storage Bring your camera, phone, or any device you prefer for capturing memories โ€” and make sure you have enough storage space! There will be countless moments youโ€™ll want to record, and it would be a shame to miss them because of a full memory card. 8. Chargers and Tech Essentials Donโ€™t forget all your important devices: chargers, power bank, tripod, extra camera batteries, or even a Polaroid camera if you have one. Youโ€™ll be grateful later for having everything you need to capture and remember the beautiful experiences. 9. Mental Preparation Lastly, prepare yourself mentally. Try to step out of your comfort zone, leave your shy or isolated habits behind, and embrace every moment. Trips like this can be truly life-changing, and participating actively will leave you with beautiful, lasting memories. ๐ŸŒธ 10. Check the Weather and Pack Accordingly Always check the weather forecast before packing your bag. If itโ€™s expected to be hot, pack light, breathable clothes. If thereโ€™s a chance of rain or colder weather, make sure to bring warm clothes and an umbrella to stay comfortable in any condition. 11. Bring a ์†์„ ํ’๊ธฐ (Handheld Fan) In case of hot weather, a ์†์„ ํ’๊ธฐ (small handheld fan) can be a lifesaver! It will help you stay cool during walks and long outdoor activities. Youโ€™ll be thankful for having one when the sun gets strong! ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ ๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿ’šโœจ

About your trip

The trip to Yeongju was truly enticing and memorable for me. ๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿ’šโœจ I spent two days surrounded by amazing people โ€” from the organizers and guides to the translators and everyone involved in the program. Everything was organized so well that we didnโ€™t even lose five minutes! The places we visited were absolutely mesmerizing with their ancient history. We saw beautiful lotus lantern decorations around the temples and listened to fascinating stories about their past. One of the highlights was visiting Buseoksa Temple โ€” it was simply breathtaking! Throughout the trip, the organizers always made sure everyone felt included and cared for. We participated in several workshops, games, and engaging activities that brought us all closer together. We also visited Sosu Seowon, where we spent a few hours exploring and learning about its historical significance. The workshops that connected us more deeply with Korean culture were especially touching; I could truly feel how much effort was made to make this trip as meaningful as possible. I will forever be grateful to everyone who contributed to making this experience so special. I sincerely appreciate all the effort and hard work that went into it. The hotel, food, people, workshops, games, and all other activities deserve huge appreciation. I particularly enjoyed the workshop about wind chimes โ€” it left a deep impression on me, and I will definitely share what I learned and experienced with others. They also captured many beautiful, memorable photos for us. Opportunities like this donโ€™t come around often, especially for free, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of it. Thank you and huge appreciation to the entire team who made it possible! ๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿ’šโœจ
