About your trip

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Ceramics Festival in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province. This city is famous for its rich ceramic heritage, with a history spanning over 500 years. The festival was a truly unique experience. Watching master potters at work in real time was both fascinating and inspiring. I even got a chance to try my hand at making clayware — a fun and memorable challenge! The event also featured speeches by local officials and showcased the talents of international ceramic artists. One of the highlights was the exhibition of local potters, where visitors could admire — and buy — beautifully crafted dishes and home decor pieces. A big thanks to the tour organizers for making this experience possible. It was a great way to get a deeper look into Korean culture and craftsmanship.

TIP

Nearby is a beautiful park that should be visited.
