About your trip

recently had the opportunity to spend two days and one night in Yeongju, and it was an experience I will remember for a long time. We explored some of Korea’s most treasured historical sites, including the tranquil Buseoksa Temple, the mysterious Floating Rock, the beautifully preserved Mural Tomb, and the scholarly grounds of Sosu Seowon. Each place offered a quiet sense of awe, history, and reflection. Our accommodation was set near a serene lake, a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Waking up to still waters and soft morning light added a calm, grounding energy to the entire journey. Beyond the historical landmarks, what made this trip truly special was the cultural immersion. We spent time playing traditional Korean games, learning through laughter and shared moments. We also took part in hands-on art experiences and explored the value and heritage of Korean ginseng something deeply rooted in local tradition. What elevated the experience even further was the company. Traveling alongside people from many different countries brought a unique richness to every conversation and activity. It reminded me how powerful cultural exchange can be when shared with open minds and curious hearts. Yeongju offered more than just a visit to the past, it gave us meaningful connections, quiet beauty, and unforgettable memories.

TIP

Learn a bit about each site before you visit. Places like Buseoksa Temple and Sosu Seowon have deep historical and philosophical significance. A little context will enrich your experience
