📍 Buseoksa Temple & Sosu Seowon – Yeongju, South Korea ✨ UNESCO World Heritage Sites that feel like time travel ⛩️📜 🏯 Buseoksa (부석사) Built in 676(!), this ancient temple is famous for its floating rock legend 🪨 and the gorgeous Muryangsujeon Hall, Korea’s oldest wooden building! The view from up there? Like a painting 🎨🍂 Fun fact: “Buseok” means floating stone—there’s literally a rock said to have floated to protect the temple from evil spirits! 🏫 Sosu Seowon (소수서원) The first Confucian academy officially recognized by the Joseon dynasty! It's where scholars studied 📖 and nature whispered wisdom 🌿. Peaceful, poetic, and seriously photogenic 📸 🕊️ Walking through these places felt like stepping into a calm, scholarly dream 💭 Just came back from an unforgettable trip to Yeongju — and I can't stop smiling 😊 From the start, the guides were amazing — always smiling, super friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of. They even prepared little gifts and cup ramen for us (yes, instant noodles never tasted so good 🍜💛). I truly felt welcomed, seen, and appreciated as a foreigner — like I wasn’t just part of a tour, but part of a little travel family. We kicked things off with a self-introduction and ice-breaking games, which really helped everyone connect. By the end of the trip, it felt like I’d made real friends 🥹💬🌏 Everything — from the UNESCO sites to the people — made it a beautiful, meaningful, and heartwarming experience. I’m so grateful I got to be part of it. Can’t wait to join again! 🧳✨ #YeongjuTrip #Buseoksa #SosuSeowon #WarmWelcome #KoreaTravel #UnforgettableMemories #Yeongju #Buseoksa #SosuSeowon #UNESCOWorldHeritage #Koreatravel #HiddenGems #HistoryNerdApproved #TempleVibes
