Bring your passport as you will have to buy a ferry ticket and fee entrance to Nami. Camera and tripod for nice pictures.

I visited Nami Island in November 2024, and I did not regret it as the fall colors looked amazing. The place was on my bucket list for the longest time and I finally was able to go. I enjoyed that it is reachable by metro (even if it may take up to 2h to get there). When you arrive you have the possibility to take a ferry to get you to the island (you can purchase the ticket at arrival) or, for the most adventurous, use the zip line. Once on the island, you have the choice to walk around or rent a bike to reach the different points of interests. They do give you a map at the entrance if you'd like, or use Naver map as well. You can get great pictures as the colors of the trees are amazing at least during fall, and I can't wait to see the spring on Nami too. Reminder to bring a tripod if you're traveling by yourself like I did. Nami offers a wide range of restaurants and cafes where you can take a break for refreshments and snacks. Many gift stores and souvenirs are available. If you'd like you can also sent a postcard to your family and friends, which I did, and my family was thrilled to receive it. I will definitely go back again this April 2025 for the spring colors.
