Fall in Korea : Best Time to See Colors
Autumn, particularly from October to November, is one of the best times to experience Korea. In Korean, this season is called 단풍 (丹楓), which translates to "autumn leaves" in English. The verb expression 단풍이 들다 means "The leaves are turning red" or "The leaves are changing color" when used as a verb. Parks and historical sites, with their colorful autumn leaves, transform the city into a romantic scene from a TV drama.

Tip:
Since autumn colors appear at different times in each city and region, I recommend checking the 단풍

(danpung) season in the city you plan to visit in advance.

If you are a true fan of Korean dramas, you may have heard of Nami Island from the drama Winter Sonata. This island turns into a picturesque scene with autumn's vibrant colors. You can rent a bike to tour the island or take a walk around the lake with a hot cup of coffee. To reach the island, you need to take a ferry, and during busy seasons like autumn and spring, ferry schedules may change.
