Seodaemun Prison
Sharescape 2
(Share+Escape)
Seodaemun Prison is a memorial that honors those who suffered and gave their lives for Korea during the Japanese occupation, that is the most tragic page of Korean history. It has been 101 years since the 1st March Independence Movement and 75 years since Korea’s liberation, but Korean people still remember that heroes thanks to whom Korean people live in an Independent country now.
Unfortunately, not only Korea but other countries have pages full of grief and pain in their history, too.
To share these pages with people all over the Globe Funday Korea Networks hold the Sharescape program, to share history and experience with people from different countries. This time we learned the history of the Korean independence movement and Mumbai terror attacks in 2008, as well as held a discussion on how we should learn the lessons of this history to live in a peaceful world.
