To commemorate Hangul Day ❤ we gathered at the Donuimun Museum Village,
which is the perfect replica of a 1970s Korean street, last Wednesday, October 9th.
As soon as we arrived, we were assigned to groups and snapped fun pictures
while taking a tour around the picturesque village. Then we printed out the images
we liked best and created our own photo maps!
Next was a Hangul Contest!
We tried to write a poem assigned to us in the most beautiful hangul letters
as possible. After that came a small quiz.
As a reward for all the sweat from writing hangul,
we got to enjoy the performance of a senior citizen band, whose members' average age was 70+!
We felt honored to be able to listen to their wonderful music.
The magic show that followed was super fun as well!
Last but not least, we stuffed our bellies with delicious Korean food
at a buffet while talking to our many new friends.
